Applications to our Pre-school for September 2019 have now closed and we are oversubscribed.  We will be holding a waiting list for places.

Application forms for September 2020 are available from our main office.

We are always very happy to invite you to our school if you are considering applying for a place at any time.  For further details please telephone our office on 01992 522283.  We look forward to meeting you.

St Andrews is a Church of England Voluntary Aided Primary School and currently has 300 pupils. The main school admits pupils from age 4-11.

We currently provide a full time place in September for those children who have passed their fourth birthday and will become five years of age during that academic year. These children form our Reception Class.

All children have the opportunity to attend full time after a short settling in period in September.

In the Reception Year, children follow the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum . We aim to increase children’s confidence while making them familiar with school routines and enabling them to gain the social and physical skills necessary to operate in the school environment.  We recognise that these young children have very specific needs in developing across all curriculum areas and parents are made very welcome if they wish to discuss Pre-school and early learning activities.
